I am a psychologist and trained in special needs education and counselling. Most of my career and work has been around children who require extra support in their academic and personal lives. I recognize that the use of different plans and interventions is necessary and that support from teachers and administration as well as parents are difficult liaisons to arrange but are of utmost importance. A focus on what is best for each child and the ability to recognize each and every one of them as their own person is my main motto. I have worked with children with epilepsy, ASD, muscular dystrophy, low self-esteem, hearing impairment, visual impairment, dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD and look forward to working with many more and hope that I can bring about positive changes and help these individuals find their footing in life.
